Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)
Mission Statement
The Mission of the
Union County LEPC is for first responders, businesses,
medical personnel, county officials, volunteer agencies,
civic organizations, and private citizens to identify
potential disaster and emergency needs, organize a unified,
planned response in advance of those needs, to test the plan
and response system for their efficacy, and periodically
update both the plan and the system through ongoing
evaluation.
